Fur coat

Hola!

Este año se llevan los abrigos de pelo o tipo Yeti.
This season the fur coats are really a must-have item.

Tenemos versiones en colores oscuros:

Y en versión animal print. Atención al de dálmata. Este estampado se está empezando a ver discretamente y estoy convencida de que el año que viene este será el estampado de la temporada.

Ahora que el más fiel al estilo "animal" es el siguiente de Asos. La verdad es que es divertido:

Aunque el año que pasado ya nos acompañaron, los chalecos de este estilo siguen con nosotras:

También tenemos versiones en las que el pelo, aunque sigue siendo el protagonista, deja espacio al resto de prendas:

En general estos abrigos no son demasiado fáciles de llevar porque aportan mucho volumen, así que mejor elegir versiones ligeras y no sobrecargadas. Como ejemplo (para olvidar) este de TopShop:

In general this is not an easy to wear garment because it increases our volume a lot, so we´d better choose a thin one. Let´s see the following example (to forget) from TopShop:

Entre las famosas, Kate Moss es una habitual de estas prendas y en mi opinión sabe llevarlos muy acertadamente, tanto de día como de noche. Veamos algunos ejemplos:

Un punto importante a tener en cuenta es la calidad del "pelo" del abrigo porque si es mala el resultado final es desastroso. Con esto no quiero decir que sólo se puedan llevar abrigos de piel natural ni mucho menos ya que actualmente hay abrigos de pelo sintético súper logrados y cuyo resultado final resulta espectacular.

Vosotras os apuntáis a esta tendencia?? Frío seguro que no pasáis!!

It is important to take into account that the quality of the fur must be really good, otherwise we will ruin our look. This does not imply that you can only wear real animal fur, because nowdays there are fabulous fake versions.

Mango night

Las grandes cadenas como Zara, Mango o H&M se han propuesto vestirnos en todas las ocasiones y para ello han incorporado vestidos de fiesta a sus colecciones.
Hoy en concreto nos vamos a centrar en la colección de fiesta de Mango. A mi me parece que en general están haciendo un trabajo estupendo, vamos, que si no te dicen que los firma Mango bien podrían colar por vestidos bastante más caros.
Cierto es que sólo los he visto es la web y sería necesario ver cómo quedan en vivo y en directo. Aunque sin duda el mayor inconveniente que nos podemos encontrar es que vayas a algún evento y te topes a otra chica con tu mismo vestido y que a ella le quede mejor.... HORROR!!!!. Si sales tú vencedora del duelo el orgullo es doble. Esta es una regla cruel peeeeeeeeeeeeero así son las cosas.
Dicho lo cual, vamos a ver qué vestidos nos trae Mango.

Zara, Mango or H&M have a very clear target in mind. They want us to wear their clothes in any moment, that´s why now we can find night dresses in their collections.
Today we are focusing on night gowns by Mango. In my opinion they are doing a fantastic job, these dresses really look like much more expensive ones.
I must confess I have only seen them on internet and I might change my mind once I see them live or I try them on. The main disadvantage that I find is to come across another girl in the same dress and that hers suits her better than yours... HORROR!!! In case it is you who look prettier, the moment will be priceless. This is a cruel rule but cést la vie!

Comencemos con los vestidos cortos. Salvo para el negro, tenemos también la versión "larga" disponible:

Pailletes

Una de las tendencias de la temporada son los pailletes o lentejuelas. Tradicionalmente reservados exclusivamente a eventos nocturnos, este año las lentejuelas intentarán colarse en nuestros outfits de día.
Vamos a ver en qué prendas nos los encontramos:

Pailletes or sequin is a trend this season. So far we have always associated it to night events but this year, pailletes will try to take part in our daily outfits.
Let´s see where we can find it:

Vestidos de fiesta... (hasta aquí nada nuevo)
Party dresses... (Nothing new so far)

Chaquetas. Con marcado estilo de fiesta:

Mención especial a la "combinación" que propone Zara. NO CUELA, QUÉ HORROR!!!! Realmente hay que tener muy mal día para salir así a la calle.
And I got horrified when I saw how Zara paired this skirt. How they dare?? You must be having a really bad day to go out like this:

Pantalones y shorts. Creo que me gusta más la versión short:

Tops. Muy bonito el de la izquierda (Asos) y claro clon de las estrellas de D&G en el de la derecha de TopShop:

Hola!!

Si el año pasado el estampado de leopardo fue el rey del animal print, este año el que pega fuerte es el estampado de serpiente. Y más que fuerte, viene pegando súper fuerte porque lo encontramos en tooooodo tipo de prendas.
Lo empezamos a ver antes del verano. ¿Os acordáis de esta foto de Zara?

Last year the cheetah print was the king of the season, but this year it is going to give the 1st position to the snake print. We can find it on every garment.
We saw it before summer.... Do you remember this picture from Zara?

Todos los estampados "animal print" quedan mejor en dosis pequeñas porque un total look resulta claramente excesivo:
In general, it is not very advisable to wear a total look of animal print because it is clearly far too much:
